Introduction / History

The Keiga people group live in seven main villages in the remote Nuba Mountains in the state of South Kordofan, Sudan.

What Are Their Lives Like?

They farm sorghum, corn and beans and raise cattle, sheep, and goats.

What Are Their Beliefs?

The Keiga people identify as Muslims, but tribal religious practices remain a spiritual stronghold in their families. There are some Christians among them who can share Christ with their families.

What Are Their Needs?

The Kega people have no schools or health care facilities or electricity. They take their water from wells where available.

Prayer Points

Pray for the Holy Spirit to give them hearts that seek truth no matter what the cost.
Pray for loving and dedicated workers to go to the Keiga people.
Pray for the Keiga people to seek and find the only savior.
Pray for Keiga leaders to have dreams of the risen Christ and share that dream with others.
