Narom speaking people have survived raids by some neighbors and wars with others. Yet they have managed to earn their living through trading with other tribes, even when Chinese traders could have taken over their trade routes. The Narom people managed to survive by cementing alliances through marriages.
Narom is a language more than a people group. There are two dialects of this language.
Narom speakers live in Sarawak, a state of Malaysia on the island of Borneo.
The Narom speaking people are noted for their love of music.
The primary religion practiced by the Narom people is Islam, a monotheistic religion built around the teachings of the Koran and of the prophet Mohammad.
The Narom people need to allow the grace and love of Jesus to affect their communities.
Pray that the Lord will "invade" the Narom speaking communities, if needed through dreams and visions.
Pray for a spiritual hunger among the Narom that will lead them to the cross.
Pray for disciple making movements to break out in Narom speaking communities.
