The Coastal Saluan people live on east-central Sulawesi Island.

What Are Their Lives Like?

The Coastal Saluan people live in either nuclear or extended families in rectangular houses made of bamboo or wood.
They grow their own food: rice, millet, maize and sago. Their meat comes from goats, dogs and chickens.

Saluan religion is based on ancestor worship, though there are both Muslims and Christians among them.
