The Welsh are a people of Celtic origin having many unique cultural practices, including the carving of 'love spoons' and the playing of the Celtic harp. They are very fond of their national sport -- Rugby football.
Most live in Wales, UK. with a small diaspora in Patagonia, Argentina an other countries.
The lives of the welsh are generally more impoverished than those of their English cousins. However, strong national identity prevents them slipping into destitution.
Once a proud Evangelical nation, they have in recent times lost their faith to the wave of commercialism that has over taken many "Western" countries.
