Introduction / History

The Rehar are a scheduled caste of India who live in the state of Himachal Pradesh. They speak Gadiali and other local languages of Himachal Pradesh.

What Are Their Lives Like?

The Rehar used to make ornaments of base metals but now their main work is agriculture. They have several clans related to their ancestry.

Hinduism is their religion. They worship family and village gods along with some of the gods of the Hindu pantheon.
