The majority of the Chhimba Sikhs live India’s Punjab state where there is a Sikh majority.
The Chhimbas use dyes and create beautiful artwork on textiles. Today with modern techniques they continue working in the fabric business.
Their people typically try to befriend people of other religious backgrounds, but rigidly uphold their own Sikh beliefs.
They are a prosperous community, but they lack the spiritual riches found only in Jesus Christ.
Pray that God will send believers who will be wise in presenting his word to the Chhimba Sikhs.
Pray that the Chhimba Sikhs will find in Jesus’ mercy, contentment, continence and the truth which they seek.
Pray for a soon coming movement to Christ among them.
