Yaminawa means people of the ax. One of their subgroup is the Arara. They are a very small tribe in Peru.
The Arara Yaminawa speak their own language. Few of them speak either Spanish or Portuguese.
They are trying to find a way to protect their rain forest habitat while maintaining their culture.
Though there is a small Christian population among the Yaminawa, they mainly practice their own ethnic religion.
This tribe is very small. They may not survive till the end of the 21st century.
Pray for Yaminawa people who love the Lord to disciple others.
Pray for a spiritual hunger that seeks truth.
