The Koiupanka are an indigenous people living in the municipality of Inhapi in Brazil.
The Koiupanka people are facing challenges today. It is unclear what their homeland is, leaving them open to outsiders encroaching on their land.
They have rituals that bring them together as a community. One of them is the Queimada do Murici, which involves feasting. This ritual celebrates the creation of their people.
There is a great need for schools and medical clinics for the Koiupanka people. Their few schools have a large dropout rate and illiteracy is high. They need to be taught skills that will prepare them for living in 21st century Brazil.
Pray that God will provide them with the schools and medical clinics they need.
Pray for the Lord to make a way for Koiupanka disciples to make more disciples.
Pray for a spiritual hunger that will lead Koiupanka people to the only savior.
Ask God to raise up Koiupanka who are more desirous to know the truth than to stay on the broad road to death.
