The Kurundi people group lives in Talodi County in the Agarutu Payam in the Nuba Mountains. They speak Kurundi and Sudanese Arabic.
They farm Sorghum, corn, peanuts and other crops on the arid landscape and raise cattle, sheep, and goats for meat and milk.
The Kurundi people identify as Sunni Muslims.
There is one primary school serving the Kurundi people, but otherwise services are extremely limited. The chief has requested support for education, health services and road improvements.
Pray for a just and lasting peace in the Nuba Mountains.
Pray for the Kurundi people to have their needs met by the Lord.
Pray for the Lord to thrust out loving workers to the Kurundi people.
Pray there will soon come a day when Kurundi people disciple others in the ways of Christ.
