Position Summary:
The Contextualized Communication Global Liaison (CCGL) will work with Joshua Project’s national and regional representatives, partnering organizations, and the wider Joshua Project communications team to facilitate the creation of custom graphics, products, and mobilization materials for various regions, countries, and people group affinities. The strength of Joshua Project is its global view and perspective, but a weakness can be that global communication efforts often need to be contextualized to be most effective in different regions and countries. The CCGL will listen to, and network with, JP’s global representatives and partner organizations to ensure our mission information is presented in a way that most effectively communicates and spreads in local networks around the world.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Network widely with Joshua Project national and regional representatives, church networks, and mission networks, especially in Joshua Project’s key countries of focus, to understand what prayer, mission mobilization, and mission education efforts are needed.
- Understand different communication mediums in various parts of the world and facilitate how Joshua Project can best produce materials, and promote other organization’s materials, for these mediums.
- Creatively communicate Joshua Project’s story and vision to our various audiences around the world through contextualized video, graphic, written and digital products.
- Curate resources for various entities (churches, small groups, college ministries, national/regional mission networks, unreached initiatives) that mobilize prayer and work among unreached peoples in many languages and locales.
- Provide graphics and copy as needed for Joshua Project’s websites and partner publications.
- Work with the Joshua Project director of communications to develop creative marketing strategies to grow Joshua Project’s subscribers and followers in key countries and regions of the world.
- Regularly attend Joshua Project communication and marketing team meetings and general Joshua Project staff meetings.
- Study and implement the latest communication trends among young adults and in key countries of the world.
- Willing to raise salary through support raising.
