Position Summary:
The Regional Research Survey Catalyst drives field research efforts to enhance Joshua Project’s data on unreached people groups. This role involves networking with national partners, training and equipping national researchers, and overseeing data collection. The Catalyst collaborates with national and regional representatives to design and implement research projects that provide critical insights into people group identity, gospel engagement, and the progress of Christian witness..
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with Directors of People Group Data to identify research needs and opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies for collecting reliable and actionable data.
- Facilitate partnerships with national researchers and mission networks to enhance survey capabilities.
- Provide training on field survey methodologies, cultural sensitivity, and data collection best practices.
- Ensure researchers recognize biases and contextualize survey questions appropriately.
- Supervise field surveys.
- Collect, verify, and organize research findings in collaboration with local partners.
- Ensure research aligns with Joshua Project’s global mission strategies.
- Present findings to mission organizations and church networks.
