The Karko people group is a tribe living in nine villages in Dilling county, of the Nuba Mountains in the state of South Kordofan, Sudan. They have their own language, Karko, but there are also Arabized Karko people whose primary language is Sudanese Arabic.
They live on a simple diet from the sorghum and corn they grow as well as beef, mutton and goat from the livestock they raise.
The Karko people are all Muslims.
They have no schools or health care facilities.
Pray for the Lord to give Karko family leaders dreams of the holy and risen Christ, and that they will share their dreams with many others.
Pray for the Lord to thrust out loving and dedicated workers to the Karko people of Sudan.
Pray there will soon come a day when Karko disciples will make more disciples.
Scripture Prayers for the Karko in Sudan.
