The Hawazama tribe claim to come from Arabic peoples many years ago. Today they are rural farmers in the Nuba Mountains area in the State of South Kordofan, Sudan.
Living simple lives, they farm Sorghum, pumpkin and sesame seeds. They also raise cattle goats and sheep.
Though most of the Hawazama people are Muslim, they also practice tribal religion.
There are no primary or secondary schools among the four Hawazama villages, and their water supply is very rudimentary.
Pray for the Lord to provide the Hawazama people with clean drinking water and the Water of Life.
Pray there will soon be Hawazama disciples making more disciples.
Pray that the sheer wonder of knowing Jesus and the impact he has on their lives and the joy he brings spur believers to share Christ with the Hawazama people.
Pray the hearts of the Hawazama people would be stirred by a sovereign work of the Holy Spirit readying them for the time when they hear the gospel message being shared with them.
