The Etulo live in the Central Nigerian states of Benue and Taraba. The Etulo are believed to have migrated from the former Kwarrafa kingdom and settled in Adi in the present day Buruku and part of Katsina Ala Local Government of Benue State Nigeria. They are predominantly farmers and fishermen.
They were given to idol worship. They believe that there is no natural death as every death is cause by witches and wizards. There is much practice of witches in the land.
Though there are many churches, the land is far from been evangelised. The churches have not been able to turn the focus of the people from idols to God. It is one major challenge. A good teaching Church is what the people need.
Another serious issue is poverty; there is abject poverty in the land this also has to do with their beliefs. Ask a Etulo man how are you today and the answer you will hear is 'Aze yi Ikwaangha' meaning poverty and foolishness. So they have remained poor and foolish. They have a great interest in fetishs.
The word of God will have free course in the life of the people.
God will raise more labourers to do the work.
Revival in the church.
God to confirmed his Word with signs and wonders.
