The Cavinena are an indigenous people that only lives in Bolivia near the Beni and Madidi rivers. They have lived there since the late 1700s. The rubber boom at the end of the 1900s reduced the Cavinena to near slavery.
They speak Cavinena, but most also speak Spanish. This is mainly a rural people who farm, tend livestock and find their own sources of wood.
The Cavinena have a Christian community, but it is small. Most are dedicated to their traditional religion.
The Cavinena people need to put all their hope and faith in Jesus Christ in order to receive abundant life.
