The Rama are a tribe living on the southeast coast of Nicaragua. Most speak Spanish. The tribal elders are the only ones who speak their native language Rama.
They live south of Bluefields, the capital of the South Caribbean Autonomous Region on the southeast coast of Nicaragua. Most live on the island of Rama Cay.
Farming and fishing is their main source of food. They live in hut-styled homes.
The majority are affiliated with the Moravian Church, though they may still largely follow traditional beliefs as well.
Pray they would be open to the gospel and put their hope entirely in Jesus as their Savior.
