The Tingui-Boto language is a dialect of Tikuna. They live in Brazil’s Amazon region.
Their lifestyle is closely tied to the land. Fishing, hunting and farming are their livelihoods. They know a lot about medicinal plants and how to use blowguns for hunting.
The Tingui-Boto have their own traditional religious beliefs that involve the spirit world.
The Tingui-Boto people are in danger. Outside logging interests want to use their land, leaving this ethnic group without anything. They want to maintain their language and culture.

Pray for the Tingui-Boto people to understand and embrace that Jesus wants to bless their families and neighborhoods.
Pray for Holy Spirit anointed believers from the Tingui-Boto people to change their society from within.
