Lower Silesian is the language of a people group that straddles Poland and Czechia. Their population is evenly divided between those two countries. It also refers to a region. Most likely their ancestors were the ancient Celts.
The Lower Silesians work as farmers, coal miners and factory workers.
Some Silesians would like to be independent from both Poland and Czechia, and there have been court cases. This independence movement is weaker now that communism is not draining their economy.
The Lower Silesian speaking people are almost all Christian. They can easily have a secular mindset, but the church is still the place to be married or buried.
Pray for a Christ-centered revival among all Silesian peoples.
Pray for spiritual hunger that will lead them to seek and find the living Christ.
Pray for Silesian disciples who will make more disciples.
Scripture Prayers for the Silesian, Lower in Czechia.
